New! Shipping template automation via API available soon

Marketplace sellers will soon be able to create automated shipping templates via API. With this new feature, you can calculate the transit time for your U.S. customers’ orders based on your selected carrier and the zip code of your fulfillment center(s). This allows for a more accurate transit time to be added to your shipping template, which ultimately helps provide more timely delivered orders.

Ship Order Lines API updated further

Starting this month, Marketplace sellers can choose from an expanded list of Walmart-approved carriers when marking orders as “Shipped”. We’ve recently updated the Ship Order Lines API to reflect this change, adding a schema for New Carriers.

With tracking supported through the subfield trackingInfo.CarrierName.Carrier, customers can see shipment status updates from these new carriers:

Reminder: PreScheduled Reports retiring at the end of October

Please note that Marketplace sellers still have time to complete the migration to OnRequest. The retirement of all PreScheduled Reports, with the exception of Recon Report*, will be at the end of October 2022. The Developer Portal has been updated to show that these reports are now only available at OnRequest.

*Recon Report will continue to be available as a PreScheduled Report, due to the nature of this report having pregenerated data.
