¹U.S.-based sellers: By enrolling, you will complete and submit an application for a business deposit account (“Account”) with JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., Member FDIC (“Bank”). You hereby appoint Walmart, Inc. as your agent to administer and service the Account on your behalf. Walmart provides convenient access to the Account through Seller Center; however, deposit and other banking services are provided solely by the Bank.
China- and Hong Kong-based sellers: By enrolling, you will complete and submit an application for an account with our third-party payment service provider (“PSP”), with funds held by the PSP in a pooled deposit account at Citibank, N.A., Member FDIC (“Bank”). You hereby appoint Walmart, Inc. as your agent to administer and service the account on your behalf. Walmart provides convenient access to the account through Seller Center; however, deposit and other banking services are provided solely by the Bank.
²Currency conversion is currently available only to China- and Hong Kong-based sellers. Eligible sellers may convert USD to CNY or HKD when withdrawing funds to a linked local bank account.
³Walmart Marketplace Wallet accounts are insured by the FDIC up to $250,000 per depositor at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., and Citibank, N.A., for each account ownership category. FDIC deposit insurance coverage protects against the failure of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., or Citibank, N.A., not of Walmart, Inc.
Follow these three easy steps to get started:
- Enroll in Marketplace Wallet: Submit your application and upload any required documents for review.
- Link your business bank account: Once approved, connect your account to withdraw any funds.
- Access your funds: Transfer your balance in Seller Center directly to your linked account. Funds can also be converted to your local currency.

Frequently asked questions
Marketplace Wallet is currently only available if your business is incorporated in the U.S., China or Hong Kong and you are selling on the U.S. Marketplace.
If you choose Walmart Marketplace Wallet as your payout method, Walmart will initiate payout to your Wallet on the same settlement cycle as other payment methods. If you wish to withdraw funds, you can send them to your linked external bank account right from Seller Center.
Not currently. You can only choose one payout method, either Walmart Marketplace Wallet or a third-party payment solution provider.
You will see your U.S. sales proceeds in your Walmart Marketplace Wallet balance within minutes of disbursement from Walmart.
Transfers to your linked account can then take 1 to 5 business days, depending on factors such as your bank’s processing times, the settlement currency of the account and selected payment rails.
Exchange rates are currently only available for USD to CNY and HKD for sellers registered in China and Hong Kong. Walmart works with our bank providers to ensure that you are receiving competitive and best-in-class rates in the market that adhere to our Everyday Low Price standards.
