Collaboration is core to our philosophy of growing together as we evolve our platform and enable sellers in new ways. That’s why we recently brought together a group of our most engaged sellers to listen, learn and celebrate our shared success.
“Let’s Grow!” is a rallying cry and the name of our first-ever seller summit that included announcements of several ways we’re helping you reach more customers, leverage our omnichannel strengths and make the upcoming Holiday selling season your best one ever. Manish Joneja, senior vice president, Walmart Marketplace and Walmart Fulfillment Services shares more about the event and our strategy to help sellers succeed here.
Here are eight key things to note:
1
We’re rolling out Brand Shops and Brand Shelves. Brand Shops are dedicated digital storefronts that allow brands and sellers to create curated pages with speed and flexibility. Brand Shelves can be created to feature a curated assortment for a seasonal promotion or around a theme, category or benefit. Watch Seller Center for details as these two features roll out in phases.
2
We’re standing up local pickup and delivery for sellers with physical stores. We’ll send customers directly to you to pick up their items or offer same-day delivery through our last mile delivery network. Click here to let us know if you’re interested in this capability that offers a great customer experience, can help lower your fulfillment costs and provides a new way for you to convert sales.
3
Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) now includes big and bulky items. Our low-cost end-to-end fulfillment solution is now offered to sellers who list big and bulky items such as canoes or trampolines.
4
Sellers can soon use WFS for multi-box shipments. If you list items that ship in multiple boxes, such as patio sets, you will soon be able to leverage WFS. By offering WFS as a fulfillment service for multi-box and big and bulky items, more items can carry the ‘Fulfilled by Walmart’ tag that helps drive conversion.
5
Eligible sellers will have access to our marketplace in Chile. Adding to our existing markets of Canada, Mexico and the U.S., early next year we’re opening up our marketplace in Chile to eligible cross-border sellers.

You can avoid peak season storage fees. Walmart Fulfillment Services will not charge sellers peak season storage fees for sellers who inbound by October 1*.
*Conditions apply. Peak season is 10/1 – 12/31. Peak season storage fees are $1.50 above regular pricing for units stored more than 30 days. Storage costs will automatically be adjusted for the duration of the promotion. Walmart reserves the right to modify, cancel or terminate this offer at any time without notice.
7
B2B and refurbished sellers have new opportunities to drive sales. We’re creating new ways for you to reach more customers with your items through our category strategy. This year we launched Walmart Business, a channel for B2B sellers; and introduced Walmart Restored Premium, a new offering in our program to help sellers seize the emerging popularity of refurbished goods. Let us know if you’re interested in becoming a Walmart Restored seller.

Two new options to complement search campaigns. Walmart Connect now offers sponsored videos—the first video ad unit on Walmart’s site and app that is designed to help sellers stand out in search results through visual storytelling with sight, sound and motion. Later this year, Walmart sellers will also have access to our self-serve Onsite Display media. These are eye-catching ads that build your brand and keep your products top of mind on Walmart.com.
Spend time with our seller community and you’ll be inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit, big ideas and passion for bringing customers more items to love. We’re already making plans to expand this event next year. Stay tuned for details.
