Walmart Fulfillment Services: Reduced fees for select oversize items

As of January 25, 2024, we’ve reduced the additional fulfillment fee for standard items with oversize dimensions from $28 to $20. This fee applies to items measuring 96–108 inches on the longest side or 130–165 inches in combined length and girth. To calculate your fulfillment fees, please use the WFS calculator.

New return notifications available—manage them in Seller Center

In the coming weeks, you’ll begin receiving notifications for when a return is initiated or delivered, as well as when a refund is initiated. If you want to adjust the frequency of these notifications or unsubscribe, you can do so via the Notification Settings section in Seller Center.

Don’t want your return packages back? Add a Keep It Rule!

Say goodbye to unwanted return packages and save on shipping costs by adding a Keep It Rule,* which now includes customer returns initiated in Walmart stores.

Clarifying update on Utah’s law label requirements

In our previous communication, we shared that “Starting January 1, 2024, Utah will require online sellers to make sure consumers can easily view law labels on product webpages for certain stuffed or filled items”. While the law was effective on January 1, 2024, Utah has announced a six-month period of soft enforcement. During this six-month period, if a noncompliance is identified, the Utah regulator will issue a Notice of Violation, serving as an educational tool to inform stakeholders about observed violations and giving them a chance to address the issues. Walmart Marketplace will be creating an easy way for online sellers to display or link to the required law labels and will communicate next steps in the coming months. As a seller, however, it is your responsibility to understand the requirements of this law and to ensure compliance for all your relevant items.
