Seller Center experience

Two new updates from Biz Mentor

We’re excited to share updates from Biz Mentor designed to help empower your business and drive success:

  1. You now have access to new WFS insights, including suggestions for restocking your inventory and converting seller-fulfilled items to WFS.*
  2. You will also get assortment recommendations for items with the potential to be sold on Walmart.com.

To view your suggestions, navigate to the Biz Mentor icon found in the top navigation of Seller Center.

*Convert-to-WFS recommendations will only be available to sellers who have at least one WFS item in their catalog.

Pricing Opportunities page to be deprecated at the end of August

Beginning September 1, you will no longer be able to view or use the Pricing Opportunities tab in Seller Center.

To view a list of items winning or not winning the Buy Box, head to Seller Center and download a Buy Box Report or Item Report. You can also create a Repricer strategy to beat the Buy Box price.

In the coming months, a new experience will be added to Seller Center that will provide insights into Buy Box win rate and competitiveness.

Make more sense of your data with updates to the Buy Box report

We’ve made changes to the columns in the Buy Box report so you can easily see which items in your catalog are winning or not.

Additionally, you can now access this info as an on-request report so that you can get the most recent data available for your catalog. Find your report through the Items Dashboard in Seller Center or via the Buy Box API.

Important: to maintain access, sellers that integrate through an API or solution provider need to review the updated schema documentation in Developer Portal and make updates by 9/27/23.

Qualify for Pro Seller Status when you meet the NEW eligibility criteria

To help you further succeed on Walmart Marketplace, we’re making changes to the Pro Seller Badge experience. These updates will include adjustments to the program eligibility criteria and feature exciting new benefits. We’ve extended the deadline and the new criteria will now go into effect on Sep 5.

Enhanced security on the Walmart Developer Portal

If you use the Walmart Developer Portal, please note that we have disabled TLS v1.0 and TLS v1.1 on Aug 4. Please update your web browser to the latest version to avoid connection authentication issues.

Shipping

Introducing 10 new shipping carriers

We’ve added 10 carriers to help you fulfill your Walmart orders. We encourage you to select the appropriate carrier when shipping to customers instead of “Other Carrier.”

New carriers:

Yanwen, SF Express, Estes Express, SFC, UBI, YF Logistics, RXO, Better Trucks, Asendia, ePost Global

As always, please make sure you provide valid tracking numbers when updating orders to a Shipped status.

Sponsored Products

Take your ad campaigns to the next level

Walmart Connect launched a new streamlined activation for Sponsored Search advertisers. Account admins can now easily manage user access to the Walmart Ad Center and API Partner access to the Sponsored Search APIs via enhanced capabilities.

API Sellers

Action required: Update your Orders and Returns APIs

To help streamline order management and fulfillment and avoid disruptions to your business, please update your Orders and Returns APIs in the Developer Portal.

With this update, you can enjoy consolidated order details for multi-quantity orders.

Failure to update your Orders and Returns APIs will impact your ability to fulfill and manage multi-quantity orders. If you are using a channel partner for API integration, please ensure they make the necessary API changes.
