By joining Walmart Marketplace, you have the unique opportunity to reach over 100 million unique Walmart.com visitors each month (source: comScore) and to join the thousands of suppliers and sellers that call themselves Walmart partners. As a Marketplace seller, you will have control over your business including inventory, retail pricing, fulfillment and customer care.
We are looking for relationships with reputable retailers and brands that provide first-class customer service, a compelling product assortment, competitive pricing and fast, reliable fulfillment.
Go to the “Request to Sell” page and complete the Walmart Marketplace application. If approved, you’ll acknowledge our Retailer Agreement and then start the onboarding process to get your products on Walmart.com.
Once you have been approved as a seller and there is a Walmart Marketplace Retailer Agreement in place, you will receive an “Invitation to Sign Up” email that will contain next steps and a designated window for signing up. Then, you will register on Seller Center and integrate your items and fulfillment system with Walmart. Once you are ready to go live, your items will be made visible to customers.
We allow a very broad range of products on our site, so we’re excited to hear about yours. Of course, we require all sellers to follow our policies, which include some limitations, so please review our Prohibited Products Policy for more information.
There are no SKU minimums or maximums, so list your entire catalog of eligible items with us. Limited inventory can be managed by setting a fixed threshold. Items without inventory are not available for sale on Walmart.com.
They will look like other items that are being sold on Walmart.com but include your company information, such as shipping, return policy and contact information.
Several attributes are used to match items you list for the first time against existing items in the Walmart catalog. The most important attributes for matching are global product identifiers (e.g. UPC or GTIN) and manufacturer part numbers. When your item is matched with existing items in our catalog, the listings will be presented together on Walmart.com.
You will receive orders in Seller Center or through the API. In addition to checking for them throughout the day, the administrator for your account can set up email notifications in Seller Center.
You can select the carriers, shipping price and shipping method when you set up your seller profile in Seller Center. We have five shipping methods available. Orders must be shipped in non-branded packaging and can’t include materials from any company other than Walmart.
Returns for Marketplace purchases are designed to offer customers a consistent experience across Walmart.com. You can view the full return policy on Seller Help. Your customer service information (including customer service email address, hours of operation and customer service phone number) are clearly displayed with your item listings on Walmart.com.
Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) is a program that allows sellers to store their inventory at Walmart fulfillment centers. When a customer places an order on Walmart.com, WFS picks, packs and ships the item(s) to the customer on a seller’s behalf, WFS also handles all customer support and returns for these orders. Products fulfilled by Walmart qualify for TwoDay delivery and Free & Easy Returns programs.
Yes! With our free TwoDay delivery program for Marketplace, if you qualify to ship yourself, you can use our simple rule-based wizard and system-generated coverage areas to include your items in the program. Using your warehouse location(s) and real-world transit data, our system automatically calculates where you can deliver within 2 days using economical ground shipping services. Once you’ve enabled them, customers will see the helpful tags and find your items more easily using search and browse filters. It’s easy and affordable to participate, but highly attractive to today’s busy customers.
There are no setup, subscription or monthly fees. We simply deduct a reasonable referral fee once a sale occurs on our site.
You set the item price for your entire catalog.
Payments will be automatically deposited into your preferred U.S. bank account every two weeks.
You will manage refunds resulting from valid returns through Seller Center or the API.
Credit Card fees are already calculated into our competitive referral fees.
