The holidays are officially upon us, and customers are ready to shop. At Walmart, we are always thinking about how best to serve the customer and you. As we continue to reinvent what holiday shopping looks like, we announced our second annual “Black Friday Deals for Days” events happening over three events throughout November.

  • Event 1: Begins on Wednesday, November 3 at 7 p.m. ET with early access for Walmart+ members at 3p.m. ET
  • Event 2: Begins on Wednesday, November 10 at 7 p.m. ET with early access for Walmart+ members at 3p.m. ET
  • Event 3: Dates will be announced soon

This means you have more opportunities throughout the season to reach customers, wow them with the best assortment, and even better deals. During these key moments, you can expect heightening traffic, curated shops, new site experiences, and unique programs to help drive sales and reach more customers.

Make your products stand out with compelling prices during one of the most anticipated shopping events of the year, Walmart’sBlack Friday Deals for Days.” The month-long savings event starts next week:

  • Event 1: Begins on Wednesday, November 3 at 7 p.m. ET with early access for Walmart+ members at 3p.m. ET
  • Event 2: Begins on Wednesday, November 10 at 7 p.m. ET with early access for Walmart+ members at 3p.m. ET
  • Event 3: Dates will be announced soon

Leverage the heightened traffic during these key dates and set Reduced-Price Promotion Rules on your top brands and products to increase exposure, attract new customers, and grow sales. As a reminder, your products must have a savings greater than 10% to qualify.

Set up your promotions at least 2 days before the event start date to receive the best product placements. For example, the first event will open early for Walmart+ members on November 3 at 3p.m. ET, so your promotion rules should be set up in Seller Center by November 1.

Tip: Monitor your promotional offers daily to ensure your prices stay competitive and to avoid becoming unpublished or losing the Buy Box. Use insights from the Listing Quality and Rewards Dashboard to see how your prices compare to other marketplaces.

Optimize Your Shipping and Fulfillment Strategy for Last-Minute Shoppers

Maximize your catalog’s full potential this holiday season with a shipping strategy that benefits you and customers. If you offer expedited shipping options like TwoDay or ThreeDay delivery programs around the holidays, you can extend your selling season and increase your chances of converting more last-minute shoppers. In fact on average, sellers offering expedited shipping have seen a 30-50% lift in conversion.

When customizing your settings using Shipping Templates, don’t forget to factor in carrier shipping cutoff dates to guarantee delivery by December 25. Plus, to ensure your amazing products are delivered this holiday with a fast, low-cost fulfillment service, we’re giving all Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) sellers a few extra benefits:

  • Receive 50% off storage fees and 10% off fulfillment fees through December 31.
  • From now through December, send your inventory to any Walmart fulfillment center of your choice. Please create a Partner Support case under the WFS category to submit a request to change your fulfillment location.
  • All WFS sellers now have the ability to ship non-sortable items to a Walmart fulfillment center.
